Want to Volunteer?
If you would like to volunteer to work at the Blood Drive, please send an email to phacommservice@ku.edu and include your name and hours you can work. *In the subject line, please write BLOOD DRIVE VOLUNTEER.*
And of course, if you just show up to volunteer we'll put you to work - no prior committment necessary.
We hope to see you there!!
Volunteer Awards: Fall 2008 Drive
For the Fall 2008 drive, we added a new category of volunteer awards. The volunteers that recruited the most blood donors received brass Jayhawks as a token of our appreciation. The winners of the brass Jayhawks this season were Skyler Rueb (39 recruits) and Allyson Petz (27 recruits). Kelsey Heard (25) and Brooke Martin (22) were not far behind. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the following winners of the organization competition during the Fall 2008 drive. Organizations were awarded points for number of donated units as well as volunteer hours. Notice how each number increased from the previous drive!!!! Great job, everyone!
